Wed 26 Feb 2025 - Review of Guapea & Dame, Demo Enchufe

This week we did another review of the two most fundamental moves of Rueda de Casino (Cuban-style salsa dancing): Guapea & Dame (aka dile que no). We also gave a demo of the move for next week: Enchufe. Several dancers stayed after class for social dancing and dance questions!

Guapea: Basic move in rueda (cuban style salsa dancing)

Dame: (Scroll down to see detailed step-by-step video.) Switch partners by lead bringing partner on right over to left. Dame is the same as Dile Que No - dame is what we call in a rueda circle and dile que no is what is done dancing one-on-one.

Enchufe: We demo'd the move tonight, and will teach it on Wed 16 Feb. Enchufe (or Enchufla) is another move that involves switching partners.
